Cooking classes with a cause |
The Bahama Village Music Program is continuing their exciting series of weekend cooking classes in Key West. Classes for 2009-2010 culinary academy will resume this fall. All proceeds from the classes benefit the children enrolled in the Bahama Village Music Program, which provides free music education classes to local children who would not otherwise have access to private music instruction.
Each cooking class features a meal prepared by a well-known local chef, along with a wine tasting and full beverage service. Participants will learn, hands-on, how to prepare the main dish, what sides to serve as an accompaniment and the wines and other beverages that pair nicely with the food.
